The international break is over and Manchester United will now turn their focus towards moving on from what has been a challenging start to the new Premier League season.
As it stands, Erik ten Hag’s men are sat in eleventh place in the table after winning two and losing two of their four fixtures during the first month of the campaign. They went into the international break on a low after late goals from Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus gave Arsenal a 3-1 home win against the Red Devils after Marcus Rashford’s opener was cancelled out by Gunners captain Martin Odegaard.
Life won’t get any easier for Ten Hag and his players as they host a Brighton and Hove Albion side that have taken maximum points from three of their opening four games and are currently the Premier League’s top goalscorers with 12 goals from their quartet of fixtures.
The United boss and his Seagulls counterpart Roberto Di Zerbi have a number of big calls to make ahead of the Old Trafford clash with several players struggling to find full fitness after injury. ManchesterWorld takes a look at who could return for the game and who has already been ruled out.
