Manchester United are in the process of attempting to fix the Jadon Sancho situation.
Sancho and United boss Erik ten Hag have shared a public fallout over the last week or so, with the winger hitting back at his manager on social media. Ten Hag told television cameras that Sancho has not been doing enough in training, and the England international responded on social media by saying: “I will not allow people saying things that [are] completely untrue.

Sancho has disappointed since arriving from Borussia Dortmund, scoring just nine goals in 58 league appearances since his big-money arrival in 2021. Ten Hag’s comments came about after the winger was left out of United’s squad to face Arsenal - a game they lost - while two youngsters were included on the bench for the trip to the Emirates Stadium.
Questions have remained unanswered over the course of the international break, with United deciding not to address the topic, but a report from the Manchester Evening News has claimed that Sancho returned to the club’s training ground at 12.30pm on Monday for talks with Ten Hag.
The two likely sought a path forward as they look to resolve their differences. While Ten Hag may want to move on from Sancho, he is not in a position to be choosy given Antony has now been removed from the first-team squad indefinitely due to domestic violence, threat, and bodily injury charges.
Reports have claimed that United could sign free agent Anwar El Ghazi, but they could also do with Sancho as they prepare for a Champions League campaign, as well as a busy Premier League season.
