Manchester United are back in action on Saturday afternoon when they face Reading int he FA Cup.
The Red Devils are in the midst of a cup stretch after seeing off Nottingham Forest in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final earlier in the week, and they will play the second leg next week. Dumfries update
United continue to be linked with a move for Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries despite Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s return to form.
According to Calciomercato, Dumfries’ agent is in ‘constant contact’ with United over a possible move for his client this summer. It’s reported that Inter Milan could well sell the Dutchman after this season, and the Red Devils will be favourites, given the Dutch connection and their possible need for a new right-back.
United are not going to spend a big chunk during the January window, but the situation might just evolve in the summer.

Anthony Elanga may be on his way out of the club this winter, with a loan deal still possible ahead of the deadline.
According to Eindhovens Dagblad. PSV, who are managed by Ruud van Nistelrooy these days, are interested in a deal for the young forward, who could do with regular minutes. Whether United allow Elanga to leave may depend on them signing another forward themselves, but it seems PSV are already waiting in the wings.
PSV are in need of attacking reinforcements after losing Cody Gakpo and Noni Madueke this month, and it’s claimed van Nistelrooy has urged his bossess to attempt to land Elanga on loan.
