Manchester United’s superb form continued on Tuesday night with a comfortable win over Charlton Athletic in the Carabao Cup.

Erik ten Hag’s men have now won all six games since returning from the World Cup break, though that does include three cup games, and their winning run will face a big test this weekend when they face Manchester City in the Premier League. In the meantime, United will be working on potential incomings as the January transfer window approaches the halfway stage.

With that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding Old Trafford.

Juranovic eyed

United are said to be interested in signing Celtic defender Josip Juranovic.

According to Sky Sports, the Red Devils want the right-back to strengthen their defensive options having impressed for Celtic over the last year or so. Juranovic is under a long-term deal at Parkhead, but the Croatian may still be available for around £10million, which may well suit United.

United are said to be keen to offload Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and if they do, they may be able to replace the right-back without breaking the bank, something they are keen to avoid doing in this window.

Dumfries price tag

Another right-back United have been linked with is Inter Milan star Denzel Dumfries, who shone for Netherlands during the World Cup.

Chelsea are also said to be interested in the defender, and according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are keen to get as much as they can for Dumfries if they are to sell this winter. It’s claimed the starting price for their in-demand Dutchman is £53.1million, and that might just put Dumfries out of reach for United.

Amid a tentative ownership situation, United are said to be keen to avoid spending big in January, and Dumfries doesn’t fit that requisite with such a high price tag.
