Manchester United are back in action on Thursday night when they take on Sevilla in the Europa League.

The Red Devils suffered a collapse in the first leg, losing a two-goal advantage to set up an intriguing second leg, with the two teams locked level. Fortunately for United, they have since picked up a confidence boost in the form of a Premier League win over Nottingham Forest. Attention now turns to the tough task that awaits Erik ten Hag’s men in Seville.

In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news surrounding Old Trafford.

Gudeji warning

Sevilla star Nemanja Gudelj has sent a warning to the Red Devils ahead of Thursday night’s clash at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

“The team is very confident,” he told reporters. “We have a lot of quality, as the coach says. We did not panic after going down 2-0. We changed things a little. We even wanted to keep playing to score the third.”

Sevilla have had a hugely disappointing season this term, although they look to be safe from relegation following the weekend’s win over lowly rivals Valencia. They can now dedicate almost undivided attention on the Europa League and this clash.

Nunes interest

On the transfer front, United are said to be interested in Wolves star Matheus Nunes.

According to Football Insider, Nunes could be of interest as the Red Devils look to strengthen their midfield this summer. The 24-year-old only joined Wolves last summer, and United will likely have to pay big to land him for that reason.

Though, it’s clear it hasn’t been a good season for Wolves, and Nunes may be inclined to move on as a result. Wolves paid more than £40million for Nunes, and they are going to want to make a quick profit if they are to sell this summer.
