Manchester United completed their first piece of transfer business on Thursday as Jadon Sancho joined Borussia Dortmund on loan for the rest of the season. Sancho has not been involved with the first-team since falling out with Erik ten Hag and will hope to reignite the form that saw him arrive at Old Trafford for £73million in 2021.
Focus among the playing group will be purely on Sunday and a massive game at home to Tottenham Hotspur in which Sir Jim Ratcliffe will be present for the first time since his investment was announced. And ahead of a big weekend of football, ManchesterWorld has taken a look at the latest headlines.

United are reportedly monitoring the development of Leeds United star Archie Gray ahead of a possible summer move. Spanish outlet Fichajes reports that the 17-year-old is among a list of potential midfield options, following the decision to not make Sofyan Amrabat's loan move permanent.
Gray has emerged as one of the Championship's most promising young talents this season, featuring 27 times for Leeds as they push for a Premier League return. The teenager is naturally a central midfielder but has filled in impeccably at right-back and his form has earned early call-ups to England's Elite League squad - formerly known as the under-20s.
Liverpool are also massive fans of Gray - whose dad, grandfather and great uncle all played for Leeds - and are said to be preparing a £40million for the young star. The report adds that it is unclear how keen Gray, a lifelong Whites fan, would be on a move to Old Trafford.
Ten Hag's Ajax reunion
Ten Hag is keeping tabs on Ajax striker Brian Brobbey as the Dutchman returns to old hunting grounds in a bid to strengthen his attack, according to reports. The Mirror states that Ten Hag is confident he will remain in charge through summer and is putting plans in place to recruit quickly.

Hide AdBrobbey has come through the ranks at Ajax since joining them in 2002 and was handed his first-team debut by Ten Hag in 2020 - that was followed by a brief stint at RB Leipzig before he returned to Amsterdam. The 21-year-old has eight goals in 15 Eredivisie appearances this season and was called up to the Netherlands squad for his senior debut in October.
Any move for the striker will likely be in the summer as United only have funds available for a loan or free transfer this month. The report adds that Ten Hag does want to bring in a forward in January.
