Manchester United have four players on their radar to replace Harry Maguire, according to reports.

The England centre-back is discussing personal terms with West Ham United ahead of a proposed £30m move having fallen down the pecking order and been stripped of the captaincy at Old Trafford.

As per the Daily Mail’s Chris Wheeler, Nice’s Jean-Clair Todibo, Bayer Leverkusen’s Edmond Tapsoba, Bayern Munich’s Benjamin Pavard and Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi are on Erik Ten Hag’s radar.

The Dutchman could reportedly also turn to Jonny Evans and offer the returning Northern Irishman a longer-term deal, after putting pen to paper initially just to feature in pre-season.

David Moyes is a big fan of Maguire but now needs to thrash out the finer details of his personal terms with a potential £6m-£10m pay-off needed from United to get the deal over the line.

West Ham did also bid for Scott McTominay but having had that £30million offer rejected appear to have turned their attentions to Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse who was always unlikely to stick around at St Mary’s after relegation to the Championship.

Fiorentina's Sofyan Amrabat has been identified as the next target for United in midfield with Fred and Donny van de Beek also attracting interest this transfer window.

Meanwhile, the Manchester Evening News claim United have already started drawing up potential signings next summer, with Ten Hag targeting players who will have less than 12 months remaining on their contracts by then.

Victor Osimhen and Jeremie Frimpong, two players Ten Hag has been a long-term admirer of, fall into that category, with the duo's respective contracts at Napoli and Leverkusen set to expire in the summer of 2025.
