Manchester United return to action on Thursday night when they take on Sevilla in the second leg of their Europa League tie.

The Red Devils allowed a two-goal lead to slip from their grasp in the first leg, setting up an intriguing second leg in the South of Spain. Since that first leg, though, Erik ten Hag’s men have managed to reclaim some confidence with a comfortable Premier League win over Nottingham Forest, and they will be looking to make it back-to-back wins to progress to the semi-finals of the Europa League.

In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news surrounding Old Trafford.

De Gea deal ‘close’

United are said to be close to agreeing a new contract with goalkeeper David De Gea.

The Spaniard is out of term this summer, and there has been plenty of speculation around his future, with no clear plan B for United should De Gea depart. But amid some impressive form this season, the goalkeeper looks set to land a new contract at Old Trafford, with ESPN claiming a new deal is ‘close’ to being agreed.

As expected, though, De Gea will be taking a pay cut should he stick around beyond this season.

Neves price tag emerges

United now know how much they will have to pay should they attempt to sign Wolves star Ruben Neves this summer.

The Red Devils are expected to strengthen in the middle of the park this summer, needing more options in midfield. Wolves star Neves has been linked, and it’s likely the Portuguese star will leave Molineux this summer, one year before his current contract expires.

According to the Telegraph, Wolves have set a £40million price tag for Neves, almost resigned to the possibility of losing their star midfielder during the coming summer.
