Manchester United swooped to sign David de Gea from Atletico Madrid back in 2011 as their long-term replacement for popular former stopper Edwin van der Sar. The 32-year-old, who is a Spain international with 45 caps under his belt so far in his career, has since made 534 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions to date.
His contract at Old Trafford is due to expire at the end of this season and he is yet to put pen-to-paper on a new deal at this stage.
