Manchester United and Liverpool target Sofyan Amrabat has reportedly been told he must make a decision on his future by the end of the week.

As per Football Italia, Tuesday’s print edition of Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport has claimed the Serie A club have given the Morocco international a deadline of ‘48 to 72 hours’ to complete a move elsewhere amid interest from United, Liverpool and Barcelona.

The latter of the trio were said to be keen on a deal for Amrabat in the aftermath of the World Cup after he played an influential role in helping the Atlas Lions become the first ever African nation to reach the semi-final of the competition in Qatar last year.

The report also reveals Fiorentina are keen to avoid a situation when the midfielder’s future is still undecided as the summer transfer window enters its final days. It is believed the asking price for Amrabat has been set around around £26million and the 27-year-old is said to be keen on a reunion with Erik ten Hag after working under the United manager during his time at Dutch club FC Utrecht.

United youngster agrees Dutch move

Noam Emeran is reportedly on the brink of leaving Manchester United after the Red Devils agreed a deal for the midfielder with Dutch second tier club Groningen.

A six-figure fee has been agreed between the two clubs according to Football Insider and Emeran has been given permission to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical. The move may come as a surprise after the 20-year-old produced some impressive performances in pre-season, scoring in United’s 2-0 win against Leeds United in their opening friendly of the summer.
