All the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding Manchester United as Erik ten Hag’s men look to bounce back.

Manchester United are now gearing up for a clash with Nottingham Forest as they look to bounce back from defeat.

Erik ten Hag’s men followed up a poor performance in their season opener with another disappointing display against Tottenham over the weekend. Though, unlike in the season opener, when the Red Devils still managed to win, they suffered their first defeat against Spurs, and that loss set the alarm bells ringing early on.

Suddenly, there is a sense of urgency around United’s need for a further signing or two, and with that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Old Trafford.

Gravenberch boost

United may have been handed a boost in their reported bid to land Bayern Munich star Ryan Gravenberch this summer.

According to reports, United are keen to land the young prodigy as they look to add depth to a thin midfield, though Liverpool are also said to be interested. Bayern have been reluctant to sell Gravenberch, despite not using him all that much since his arrival last year, but The Athletic now say Thomas Tuchel is willing to sanction a deal.

If that’s true, United may just need to see off Liverpool to land Gravenberch ahead of the deadline.

Pellistri claims

Ten Hag is said to have performed a U-turn when it comes to Facundo Pellistri.

Pellistri looked set to leave Old Trafford on a loan deal this summer despite having impressed at times last term. But according to Leon ten Voorde, United are now considering keeping the Uruguayan after realising the lack of depth they have from the first two games.

Much will likely depend on what the Red Devils can do between now and the end of the transfer window, but significant incomings are unlikely unless a number of fringe players depart.
