Goalkeeper reshuffle

United are already said to have plans to sell back-up keeper Dean Henderson as they prepare to push through a deal to sign Andre Onana.

According to Chris Wheeler of the Daily Mail, United will offload Henderson to Nottingham Forest, where he spent last year on loan, in a £20million deal. Wheeler also claims that Heaton - who is said to have wanted a move - has agreed to stay at the club for another 12 months in otder to serve as Onana’s back-up.

Heaton was the club’s number three last season, and he will now step up to become the club’s number two.

Rashford contract

United are said to have stricken an agreement in principle over a new contract.

According to The Mirror, United have already held talks with key star Marcus Rashford over a new deal after the England international enjoyed a fine season of last. According to the report, United and Rashford have now agreed a five-year contract in principle. It’s claimed Rashford will get a ‘significant’ pay rise on his £200,000-per-week current deal.

That will be a huge boost for United, with Rashford a key element of Ten Hag’s plans going forward.
