Man United v Liverpool moment sparks frenzy as ‘better than Raphinha’ claim made

Manchester United fans have been reacting to Jadon Sancho’s goal against Liverpool.

The Red Devils are in pre-season friendly action today (Tuesday) against Liverpool, facing their Premier League rivals in Thailand.

And Sancho got onto the scoresheet with a fine finish, taking advantage of an error to fire into the far bottom corner.

It’s going to be a big season for the winger, who didn’t exactly live up to the billing last season following his big-money arrival from Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho is still 22 years of age, and United will be aware that development is not always a straight, upwards-facing line.

And let’s not forget, United were not great as a whole last season, which is never going to help.

But as he prepares for a big campaign under a new boss, Sancho has managed to get himself a confidence boost, and that can only help ahead of the new season.
