Man United 'planning' £131m transfer swoop for Premier League trio with 38 goals this season

Ruben Amorim will already be looking ahead to the summer transfer window as he aims to add more attacking talent to a squad who have struggled in front of goal this season in the Premier League.
The Red Devils have scored 42 goals in 36 games this season in the league, making them the fifth-lowest-scoring side in the Premier League. Only Everton, Ipswich Town, Leicester City and Southampton have scored fewer.

United plotting move for PL trio
In recent months, United have been very strongly linked to one name, which they will hope will transform their goal-scoring form. Wolves’ Matheus Cunha looks set to make a move to Old Trafford this summer, despite links to Arsenal too.
Cunha has scored 15 goals in the league for Wolves this season and is currently in the top 10 highest-scoring players in the Premier League. Cunha said earlier in the year that he wants to leave Wolves to join a bigger club, and a fee of around £62.5m, which is the release clause in his contract at Molineux.
However, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Cunha is one of three top-flight English players that Amorim wants to sign for United this summer as he aims to improve his front line and score more goals next season.

Furthermore, Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo has emerged as a target for United, as the Ghana international has impressed for Andoni Iraola’s side in the league this season. He would reportedly cost United around £38m, according to the reports.
Semenyo has scored nine goals and provided five assists for the Cherries this season, he would be able to play for United in one of Amorim’s number 10 roles behind the striker, much like where Cunha can play.
How could United line up next season with the new front three?
If United were to land all three, Amorim would have a completely revamped front three, which would place the future of someone like Alejandro Garnacho in doubt with reports linking him to Napoli and Chelsea.

This is what United’s starting XI could look like next season should they sign Semenyo, Delap and Cunha...
Onana, Yoro, De Ligt, Mazraoui, Dorgu, Diallo, Ugarte, Fernandes, Cunha, Semenyo, Delap.
