Man United are looking to overhaul their front line this summer with multiple sales and signings.

Manchester United are expected to oversee a number of significant changes to their squad this summer, especially in attack.

The Red Devils have had a far from desirable run in the Premier League but their season hopes are resting on their meeting with Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final in just over a week. United produced a sensational comeback against Lyon to set up a statement 7-1 aggregate display over Athletic Club in the semis.

However, despite a big chance of taking home a trophy this season, there are still glaring issues that United need to address. Ruben Amorim and co are on the market for some new attackers, as a large amount of their current players could be headed for the door.

United have wasted no time in targeting replacements. In fact, they have enough names on their shortlist that they are starting to put them in order of preference.

Man United make Antoine Semenyo a priority target

One of the leading names on United’s radar right now is Matheus Cunha of Wolves. Liam Delap has also emerged as a target ahead of Ipswich Town’s relegation, as has Brentford’s popular Bryan Mbeumo. But according to Sky Sports, the Bees star has been bumped slightly down the list in favour of Antoine Semenyo.

The report claims that United want ‘one of’ either Mbeumo or Semenyo, but the latter is now ‘ahead’ on the list of targets.

Semenyo has been a key player for Bournemouth during their impressive season. The versatile wide player has notched 11 goals and seven assists so far in all competitions this campaign, earning interest from a number of rival clubs.

Semenyo has also scored against United on both occasions the two have met in the Premier League this season. The first time was during Bournemouth’s dominant 3-0 win at Old Trafford, followed by his opener at the Vitality Stadium last month, which was eventually cancelled out by a stoppage time equaliser from Rasmus Hojlund.

Man United due to offload multiple players

It has been made clear that a player overhaul is on the cards at United. On loan stars Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford are both expected to leave once they return from Chelsea and Aston Villa respectively. Sancho has been linked with a move back to Borussia Dortmund, while Rashford is reportedly in talks with Barcelona, according to updates in Spain.

The futures of the likes of Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho are also in doubt. Hojlund is attracting attention despite his inconsistent season in front of goal, with Juventus looking to bring him back to Italy. Garnacho is also on the Serie A radar, with Napoli showing interest in his services.

According to GiveMeSport, United officials are looking to seek clarification from Gli Azzurri regarding their interest in Garnacho. A decision on his future is expected to be ‘accelerated’ by the end of the month.

Antony’s name has also been discussed for an exit, despite rediscovering his form on loan with Real Betis.
