Manchester United suffered yet another injury scare during their 2-2 draw with Liverpool in the Premier League over the weekend.
Erik ten Hag's side put in a much-improved second-half display to take a point off their fierce rivals at Old Trafford, though there was still a lot of concern about their overall level of performance during the match.
Amid the club's ongoing defensive crisis, teenager Willy Kambwala shone in central defence, while fellow academy graduate Kobbie Mainoo continued his meteoric rise with another stunning goal. Bruno Fernandes also netted a brilliant strike, though it was an afternoon to forget for experienced midfielder Casemiro.
Scott McTominay missed the match through injury, meaning there have now been 56 separate cases of injury and illness that have caused a senior United player to miss a competitive game this season. That number could rise in the comings weeks as well, with Marcus Rashford taken off in the second-half with another fitness scare.
