What Erik ten Hag has said
Speaking about his hopes for FA Cup success, United boss Ten Hag has said: “We enjoyed winning a trophy and it has to be the fuel for the next one. We must be pushed by that and that has to bring extra energy to beat Fulham.
“We have to set a winning culture. We are Manchester United, we have to win all the games, we have to compete in all the leagues. That is the mentality.”

We are Manchester United, we have to win all the games, we have to compete in all the leagues and to win all the leagues. So that has to be the mentality. It is not that you win all the leagues. The mentality is when you go into a game, you have to win the game.”
What Marco Silva has said
In his pre-match press conference, Silva said: “We have to prove on the pitch that we are capable of doing it (winning the FA Cup). If you ask me if I believe? I’m 100 per cent sure I believe. I’m not saying that we are dreaming of it.
“I believe we are able to do it if we are at our best level, (with) full respect to Manchester United. I’m humble enough to say they are the favourites, at home, they’ve won the Carabao Cup.”
Silva added: “For us to be able to win the game we have to show improvement from our last two games, it has to be the first step for us to be able to be competitive. This football match is probably not natural for some of these players. But for some of the players it’s not something really new and I expect certain players from our team to pop up in these types of moments.
