'I want' - Ruben Amorim explains his first Manchester United line up

The Portuguese head coach has made three changes from the side who beat Leicester before the international break, with Jonny Evans, Christian Eriksen and Alejandro Garnacho selected over Lisandro Martinez, Manuel Ugarte and Rasmus Hojlund.

It looks like Marcus Rashford will lead the line supported by Garnacho and club captain Bruno Fernandes, with Amad Diallo set to occupy one of the wing-back roles. Jonny Evans starts in defence alongside Matthijs de Ligt alongside either Diogo Dalot or Noussair Mazraoui.

Speaking ahead of the match, Amorim explained his line up and why many players aren't starting the match after recent international involvement.

"It is not difficult, it is a key point, the time we had to train," he told Sky Sports. "I tried to put the players I have had more time to train. We will start in this way, because when you train you pas the information. Some of the lads have just one training, is not enough, I want my players comfortable. There will be time for everybody during this sequence of games."

United XI vs Ipswich: Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Evans; Amad, Casemiro, Eriksen Dalot; Fernandes, Garnacho, Rashford.

Subs: Bayindir, Malacia, Shaw, Mainoo, Mount, Ugarte, Antony, Hojlund, Zirkzee.
