United will be hoping for a dream start to the new Premier League campaign and are on course to have De Ligt and Mazraoui available for selection after they underwent their respective medicals on Monday morning. They must be registered with the Premier League by midday on Thursday if they are to be available for selection against Fulham.
It means United could have a new-look defence to choose from on Friday night, with Diogo Dalot a contender to move to left-back, while De Ligt could partner Lisandro Martinez in central defence.
