Hale mansion perfect for Man Utd target Mason Mount or Man City newbie Mateo Kovacic hits market - gallery

The new owner of the £4.5 million Hale home will have some famous neighbours and live in one of the country’s most enviable property hotspots.

A stunning Hale property has hit the market in Cheshire, just in time for any potential Premier League interest from new Manchester City man Mateo Kovačić or Manchester United targets Mason Mount and Moises Caicedo.

Hale in Altrincham is known for its luxury houses and idyllic life 40 minutes away from the hubbub of the Manchester city centre, which makes it very attractive to football stars and locals alike.

Marcus Rashford reportedly bought a £1.85 million home in nearby Bowdon and Harry Maguire invested in a £4 million property too in recent years. The village is also reported to be home to Luke Shaw.

Paul Pogba famously lived in Hale when playing at Manchester United and actually struck up a deal with Red Devils winger Antony last year, who now lives in the property.

The Juventus midfielder's home was valued at £3 million and found in Hale Barns, a neighbourhood also believed to be home to City talisman Erling Haaland. Antony gave a tour of the gaffe to ESPN last year after moving in, joking that he still had to change some of the furnishings that still sported Pogba's initials.

Liverpool midfielder Jermaine Pennant also lived in the area. His £3 million tudor home infamously caught fire and is now abandoned.

Other stars known to have resided in Hale and Altrincham include Roy Keane, Phil Neville, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Nicky Butt and Dwight Yorke.

New Manchester City signing Kovačić will no doubt be in the market for a new home soon and Manchester United targets Mount and Caicedo may be following suit if the Red Devils get their way.

The five-bedroom being sold by Savills is certainly eye-catching. Jamie Carter, head of residential sales at Savills in Knutsford and whose team is handling the sale, says: "Park House is a property that simply has everything you could want or need for modern day living.

"Located within a mile of Hale Village and local schooling considered among the best in the Manchester area, the home has its own swimming pool, gym, cinema and a lift to each level."
