"He has been really impressive. I can't say this categorically, because I don't know Aaron's career but I can't imagine he has played as well as he is for us in any other time in his career. He looks like he's enjoying his football, he gives a lot to the team, really pleased with him in terms of what he is giving defensively and offensively. He looks like he's enjoying his football and that is not easy because the results we've had haven't been enjoyable. Nevertheless, his individual performances have been strong."

Asked if he had to do anything different to unlock Wan-Bissaka's attacking threat, Potter added: "I don't know the past, but his attributes are his attributes. He has got the capacity to go up and down the pitch at a high level and he has got some quality. He played on the left, played on the right. At the same time, he is defensively he is really solid. His individual performances have been a strong point in a disappointing season and he has been really good."
