Manchester United are without a Premier League game until 2 October when they travel to the Etihad Stadium to take on Manchester City, due to the international break.

The Red Devils haven’t played a league game since beating Arsenal 3-1 at Old Trafford on 4 September, ahead of Queen Elizabeth’s death four days later.

Her passing resulted in United’s next two league fixtures being postponed. As a result, the club have only played two Europa League group stage fixtures since the win over the Gunners.

Erik Ten Hag’s side lost their opening group stage match against Real Sociedad 1-0 at Old Trafford, but were victorious when travelling to Moldova to face Sheriff Tiraspol last week, beating them 2-0.
