Fabrizio Romano insists Manchester United are 'fully focused' on how they can make Erik ten Hag a success despite fresh links with candidates to replace him.
Ten Hag is set to take charge of United when they host Brentford in the Premier League this weekend, a week after his future was discussed by club chiefs at their latest executive committee summit. While it is acknowledged the start to the season has not been good enough, it is still only early days in the season and things could change quickly after the international break.

A recent German report claimed Stuttgart manager Sebastian Hoeness turned down the role in the summer, while The Sun say former Borussia Dortmund boss Edin Terzic has emerged as a shock name on the club’s shortlist to replace Ten Hag.
Romano has shot down any immediate indication of change though, by insisting the Dutchman will be given more time to turn his fortunes around.
“Erik ten Hag has not received any formal communication from INEOS,” Romano said on his YouTube channel. "So, while I’m recording this video, no communications from the owners, no communications from the management. Erik ten Hag keeps working on preparing the squad for the next games in the Premier League and Europe.
“So, full focus on the pitch, full focus on the tactical plan, and full focus on recovering some players. The injury of Garnacho, the injury of Harry Maguire, Mazraoui will also be out. So Man United are fully focused on the pitch in terms of coaching staff, in terms of Erik ten Hag.”
