Everton star 'top' of Man Utd wish list

Per a report from TeamTALK, Manchester United are listing Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite as their prime defensive target from within the Premier League. It is claimed that 'plans will be put in place to begin an overhaul of United’s back line' and also that 'reports around the club dictate that these plans are already underway.'

The 21-year old is also being linked with Tottenham Hotspur who are also said to be considering defensive reinforcements. Both clubs are said to like Branthwaite due to 'his impressive positioning, combined with versatility across the back line and good decision-making on the ball.'

According to CaughtOffside, who reference journalist Ekrem Konour, Christian Eriksen is being eyed by clubs in Saudi Arabia’s Pro League. It is claimed that the Danish midfielder could be the subject of £17 million bids in the January transfer window.

The report claims that fans 'will be expecting the club to give the green light, especially considering the Denmark international is nowhere near the player he once was'. Furthermore, they claim that Eriksen 'is now very obviously in the twilight of his career.'
