Hide AdIn a closely fought game, United took the lead with Antony's first Premier League goal of the season, before a calamitous foul from Andre Onana gifted Burnley a late penalty from which Zeki Amdouni levelled the scores.
United then had strong protests for their own penalty turned down when Antony's low cross into the box hit the hand of Burnley defender Vitinho, but those protests were waved away by referee John Brooks.
Ten Hag admits that United would have been lucky to have been awarded a penalty for the incident, but he instead questioned the consistency of officiating after defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka had been penalised for a similar situation against Coventry City last weekend.

Hide AdSpeaking after the match, Ten Hag was asked whether or not the latest dropped points were down to bad luck or a bad mentality. "Both - bad luck and we are not lucky with the refereeing in recent weeks," he told Sky Sports.
"We've conceded so many penalties, this one is justified but other ones. If you make [Aaron] Wan-Bissaka in the final a penalty then what is this [Alejandro Garnacho penalty claim]. Where is the consistency?
"We have to look in the mirror. We made a mistake, but you take responsibility and they should understand what it means for a team and for a manager."
