Erik ten Hag gives verdict on Rasmus Hojlund's debut season in the Premier League
Rasmus Hojlund scored from the bench in Man Utd's 2-0 win over Brighton in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Erik ten Hag says he was pleased with Rasmus Hojlund's debut season in the Premier League and has warned that he isn't done yet ahead of the FA Cup final against Man City next week.

The Danish forward scored a brilliant goal from the bench to seal United's 2-0 victory over Brighton on the final day of the league season, taking his tally up to 10 goals in the Premier League and 16 goals across all competitions.
Hojlund has had to contend with three separate injuries across his debut campaign following his £72 million move from Atalanta last summer, as well as plenty of scrutiny over his enormous price-tag. The 21-year-old has certainly looked raw at times during his first year but has shown glimpses of his obvious potential, particularly with his goal at Brighton on the final day from the bench.
Hojlund will be looking to cap his season with a winning goal in the FA Cup final against Man City next weekend, and Ten Hag is excited with what he's seen from the striker so far.
"It could always be better but don’t forget he had three injuries this season,” he told reporters when asked for his verdict on Hojlund’s debut campaign. “He came in with an injury, missed the start, then he got injured before winter and got injury after winter which every time has broken his rhythm. If you shoot 16 goals for a first season it’s OK and it’s not over, we have to play the FA Cup final."
