The Man Utd line up has been confirmed for their final Premier League match of the season.

Erik ten Hag says Manchester United are looking for Lisandro Martinez to make 'the next step' in his road to recovery against Brighton.

United are in action for the final time in the Premier League this season when they face Brighton at the Amex Stadium on Sunday afternoon and must better Newcastle's result against Brentford if they are to qualify for the Conference League.

Ten Hag has made one change from the Newcastle win in midweek with Lisandro Martinez coming in for Jonny Evans, while Rasmus Hojlund remains on the bench.

While it is great to see the Argentine back in action, some supporters are wary at seeing him thrown in from the start just one week ahead of the FA Cup final against Man City, in case he suffers any other injury issues.

Speaking to MUTV ahead of the match, the United manager explained his team selection and why Martinez is starting: "We have to win every game, that doesn't change anything in our approach. We well see, we have seen when he is playing, he adds a lot to our quality of our game. He didn't play for a long time, came in last Wednesday, he has to make the next step. Hopefully he can have an impact on the team."

United XI: Onana, Wan-Bissaka, Casemiro, Martinez, Dalot, Amrabat, Mainoo, McTominay, Amad, Fernandes, Garnacho.

Subs: Bayindir, Rashford, Hojlund, Eriksen, Varane, Antony, Evans, Kambwala, Collyer.
