England 'leaked' XI v Belgium as Southgate considers major decision on Man Utd wonderkid Mainoo

The likes of Kobbie Mainoo and Marcus Rashford will hope to feature in England's friendly clash with Belgium on Tuesday night.

Manchester United wonderkid Kobbie Mainoo is hoping to make his first senior start for England when Gareth Southgate's side face Belgium at Wembley on Tuesday night.

The Red Devils midfielder was a late call-up to the Three Lions squad ahead of a friendly double header against Brazil and Belgium last week as he was rewarded for his impressive introduction into Erik ten Hag's side over recent months.

Mainoo racked up yet another landmark in what is an increasingly promising career when he came on as a second-half substitute alongside United team-mate Marcus Rashford in Saturday's 1-0 defeat against Brazil and he earned somewhat reserved praise from the England manager for his performance.

Speaking after the game, Southgate said of Mainoo: “Kobbie was a chance to dip his toes. We needed to refresh some of the team because we’ve got to manage their minutes a little bit, so that’s a strange situation when it’s a game of that size but that’s where we are. To get Kobbie on the pitch was a brilliant moment for him and his family. You saw a couple of turns and a couple of really composed moments that is a bit of an indication of what he might become."

Southgate faces a number of key decisions ahead of Tuesday night's game against Belgium after the likes of United centre-back Harry Maguire and Manchester City full-back Kyle Walker both withdrew from the squad for the game.

With hours to go until kick-off, we assess the line-up Southgate could name based on various reports of who could get the nod as his side prepare to take the next step in their preparations for this summer's European Championships in Germany.
