Manchester United are progressing with their summer transfer plans as they look to overhaul the first-team squad under head coach Ruben Amorim. United originally budgeted for next season with European football, but could see their plans boosted if they win the Europa League and qualify for the Champions League.
In the worst case scenario, United have prioritised the addition of both a striker and an attacking midfielder this summer, with Ipswich forward Liam Delap and Wolves star Matheus Cunha both transfer targets. Delap has a £30 million relegation release clause in his current deal, while Cunha insisted a £62.5m release clause was included in his contract when he signed an extension earlier in the year.
It means United might only need to spend £92.5m to address their two top targets this summer, while they could also add another midfielder, a right winger and a goalkeeper to their squad. Here is how they plan to line up under Amorim next season:
