The Man Utd forward was substituted during the 3-0 defeat to Liverpool FC in the Premier League.

Alejandro Garnacho hit back at an online troll who mocked him following Manchester United's defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League.

The Argentine forward started for United in the 3-0 loss at Old Trafford but was substituted after 70 minutes with his side already three goals down. United fans booed the decision to take Garnacho off when their side was still in need of attacking intent.

Garnacho was mocked by rival fans following the heavy loss, with one online troll uploading a fail compilation of his first three performances of the season, despite the fact he made a positive impact from the bench in the first two games of the campaign.

Although the United forward was not directly tagged in the video, he was alerted to it on X and hit back at the uploader in a now deleted comment. Making reference to the video's title of 'Alejandro Garnacho - season so far', the 20-year-old replied with a comment which read: "Wasting your time making clips for me - your life so far," followed by a laughing emoji and a flame emoji.

The academy graduate only brought further attention to the troll, who hit back again with a comment saying: "If you weren’t so bad I wouldn’t have any footage to post."

Garnacho will hope to silence the critics when United travel to face Southampton in their first match back after the international break next week.
