Where Man City’s Oleksandr Zinchenko could end up amid Arsenal, Everton & Newcastle links

The Ukrainian could leave Manchester City this summer, with several Premier League clubs said to be interested.

Oleksandr Zinchenko’s future at Manchester City remains uncertain, despite reports about an Etihad exit diminishing in recent weeks.

Raheem Sterling’s expected departure and the potential sale of Nathan Ake have seen Zinchenko’s future receive less media attention of late, but he’s a player who reportedly is still a target for several Premier League clubs.

The Telegraph’s Sam Dean claimed on the Kanu Believe it podcast that Zinchenko has been earmarked by Arsenal as a possible alternative to Lisandro Martinez, who looks likely to join Manchester United this window.

The Gunners have been linked with a move for the City defender on several occasions this summer, with Metro claiming in mid-June that Mikel Arteta was keen on the player if City were to sign Marc Cucurella.

On the same day, Fabrizio Romano tweeted to say Everton were interested in Zinchenko, with the Daily Mail reporting earlier in the summer that he was also of interest to Chelsea.

The Athletic reported earlier in the window that Zinchenko had been ‘touted around clubs such as Everton and Newcastle’, although the same outlet have since claimed the player could remain at the Etihad this summer.
