Lavia set to depart
City youngster Romeo Lavia is close to signing for Southampton, according to The Athletic.
They claim the Saints beat Leeds United to the Belgian’s signature, but City will have the option to sign Lavia back in the future.
The Daily Mail add the Premier League champions were reluctant to allow the 18-year-old to leave and will receive a fee of £10m from the transfer.

Nathan Ake continues to be linked with a move to his former club Chelsea, but is reportedly not on Bournemouth’s radar, another of his old clubs.
It was suggested by 90min earlier this week that the Cherries could be keen on bringing the defender back to the Vitality Stadium, but the Daily Echo claim this is not the case.
90min reported that Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Aston Villa and Newcastle United were interested in the defender, with Pep Guardiola ‘prepared to part ways’ with Ake.
Kompany interested in City defenders
Burnley are on the verge of signing young City defenders Taylor Harwood-Bellis and CJ Egan-Riley, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Hide AdThe latter is expected to complete a permanent move once his contract expires at the Etihad on Thursday, with the clubs working together to avoid a tribunal.
Meanwhile, Harwood-Bellis looks set to join the Clarets in a loan move, and will link up with former City manager Vincent Kompany.
