Of the 260 goals Aguero netted for Manchester City, that’s undeniably his most famous, as it wrapped up a final-day league title for the Sky Blues in the 94th minute.
This May marks 10 years on from that iconic incident, and City’s all-time leading scorer revealed his statue should be unveiled at the Etihad to coincide with the date.

“I think the statue would already be there by that date. It’s sure going to be weird. That match was crazy," he added.
Aguero’s future plans
The legendary forward sadly had to hang up his boots earlier last year due to a heart condition which was diagnosed after signing for Barcelona in the summer.

“We still need to figure out the role but I’ll be with the team at the World Cup,” Aguero explained. “It was a nice talk with Chiqui [Tapia, the President of the Argentine Football Association].
“I want to spend time with the players. I’ll be there with the team, I get along very well with them. I want to be close to them and try to have fun. I want to find a way I can help the national team.”

That squad in Qatar is expected to include Lionel Messi, despite his indifferent form at Paris Saint-Germain this season.
Aguero, who is a close friend of the former Barcelona star, was asked about Messi’s brilliance and what it’s like to try and stop him.
"Yes, I believed that he was one of the best strikers, especially in Europe,” said Aguero. “I know that Messi and Cristiano [Ronaldo] were in a very good moment. He [Messi] does things so easily and it costs others a little more.
