Reports of potential Manchester City incomings have dried up in recent days, but are continued reports of outgoings at the club.

Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus are the two players most regularly linked with the exit door, while there have also been claims that Bernardo Silva and Oleksandr Zinchenko could be on their way out.

It’s far from an ideal situation for City who, despite their immense talent, don’t have a huge pool of players.

But what are the latest reports saying, and are any players close to departing?

Sterling’s role at City

As per the Telegraph, Sterling wants his future to be sorted out in the next two weeks. This, they claim, is an unofficial deadline the winger has set himself, while City are yet to receive a concrete offer from Chelsea for the player.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are also interested in the former Liverpool man who feels City cannot offer him guarantees at this stage of his career and wants to move to a club where he will be viewed as a ‘key player’.

The Telegraph also report City have not yet quoted a fee for Sterling, with the attacker currently on holiday in Jamaica and has been given time to go through his options.

Silva’s asking price

City will not accept less than €80m (£69m) for Silva this summer, according to AS.

Barcelona have been heavily linked with a move for the Portugal midfielder, but the Spanish outlet report a transfer would be ‘impossible’ unless City lower their asking price.

They add Silva is interested in a switch to the Nou Camp, with agent Jorge Mendes pushing to complete a deal. Barca also see Silva as a potential replacement for Frenkie De Jong.

De Jong not a target

Speaking of De Jong, Spanish journalist Helena Condis Edo claims City are not interested in signing the midfielder.

Recent reports from Spain had suggested Pep Guardiola was keen on luring the Dutch international to the Etihad, scuppering Manchester United’s efforts to purchase the talented playmaker.

However, Condis Edo’s tweet where she claimed City ‘do not want De Jong’ will be seen as positive news to United supporters, while she also added Barca are indeed interested in Silva saying they are ‘fully convinced’ a transfer could happen.
