Pep Guardiola has backed Jack Grealish to score more goals in the future and claimed once he finds the back of the net once ‘the rest will come’.
Grealish is enjoying a good run in the Manchester City team and has played well in recent wins over Wolverhampton Wanderers, Manchester United and Copenhagen.

“Goals and assists will come,” he said. “Any player wants to score and get assists, but the main thing is to keep playing and enjoying it.”
His manager made a similar prediction on Friday ahead of City’s Premier League clash with Southampton.
“I had the feeling that the moment the first and the second, the rest will come,” said Guardiola. “What is important is how he is trying and he never will be a top, top scorer but this is the next step.

“He’s playing better and that is an obvious situation,” Guardiola continued. “But in the same time I have the feeling that he’s always been really good and happy here, even in the games when maybe he didn’t play much, or last season maybe he struggled, he always celebrated our good moments.
“He’s so grounded and so charming with all of us, always joking and trying to do the best. Sometimes people need time to realise what they have to do and we are very pleased. The last game and the previous game he played against United and Copenhagen, he’s played really good.”
Asked what if Grealish is playing with more confidence and understanding, Guardiola responded: “You’d have to ask him. Maybe he understands a little bit [more], he came from another reality before, but of course confidence is an important part of your development.
“He can do it and he can prove whatever he wants. Before maybe he made actions and lost the ball but now he’s more aggressive. Every player feels that.”
