Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will take on six-time Europa League winners, Sevilla, in their last group game of the 2022/23 Champions League.

City cemented their position as group winners and in their last Champions League game, as the Blues played out a cagey 0-0 draw with Borussia Dortmund. Despite the lack of goals, the game was not bereft of chances - in the 58th minute, Riyad Mahrez squandered a golden opportunity as his penalty was saved by Dortmund keeper Gregor Kobel.

Sevilla, on the other hand, won by a score of 3-0 at home to FC Copenhagen in their last Champions League fixture. Despite the first half being scoreless, the Spanish club opened the floodgates in the second period as they won through goals from Youssef En-Nesyri, Isco and Gonzalo Montiel.

There’s not a huge amount riding on this game, with City already securing first place and Sevilla set to finish third regardless of the score at the Etihad. Therefore, we’re expecting to see two experimental line-ups.
