Gabriel Jesus starts for Manchester City in Sunday’s huge Premier League clash against Liverpool, in one of three alterations made by Pep Guardiola, from the team which began the win over Altetico Madrid in midweek.

Kyle Walker, who was suspended on Tuesday, returns along with Phil Foden. However, Jack Grealish is on the bench for City, as is Riyad Mahrez.

In midfield, Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne make up the trio, while Jesus, Foden and Raheem Sterling are up front, although it’s uncertain in which positions the attackers will line up.

As for Liverpool, they also make three changes from the win over Benfica, with Joel Matip, Thiago and Diogo Jota starting.

There were rumours Roberto Firmino would miss out through injury, but he’s on the bench for Jurgen Klopp’s side, as is the dangerous Luis Diaz.
