Pep Guardiola has dropped Jack Grealish and Phil Foden for Tuesday’s Champions League quarter-final first leg against Atletico Madrid.
The pair are two of three changes from the Manchester City side that started in the weekend win over Burnley, with the other alteration seeing the suspended Kyle Walker miss out.

Guardiola starts with Ederson between the sticks, with a back four of Joao Cancelo, Stones, Aymeric Laporte and Nathan Ake. Walker’s absence means Cancelo is likely to play at right-back, with Ake on the left-hand side.
In midfield, Ilkay Gundogan retains his place after scoring at Turf Moor, and he’s joined by Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri in the middle.
Up front, it looks likely that Mahrez will play from the right, Silva through the centre and Raheem Sterling on the left.

Hide AdAs for Atletico, it’s two changes from the side which started in last weekend’s win over Deportivo Alaves. Felipe and Koke start for Atleti, with Jose Maria Gimenez injured and Thomas Lemar dropping to the bench.
Diego Simeone’s side will play in a 3-5-2 shape, with Antoine Griezmann and Joao Felix starting up front.
Tuesday’s game will be just the fourth meeting between Guardiola and Simeone, with the latter progressing when they last met in the Champions League.
On that occasion, Atletico eliminated Bayern Munich, then managed by Guardiola, in the 2016 semi-finals.
