Wednesday sees Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City side look to reach the Champions League final for the second consecutive season.

Their last-four tie with Real Madrid is finely poised, with City leading 4-3 as both sides head to the iconic Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid.

With City agonisingly close to the final, some optimistic fans will have one eye on reaching the showpiece occasion.

When is the UEFA Champions League Final 2022?

The 2022 final was due to be held in the Gazprom Arena in St Petersburg, Russia. However, the location was moved to the Stade de France in Paris following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The final will take place on Saturday 28 May and will kick off at 8pm UK time.

Are there flights from Manchester to Paris?

According to the Manchester Airport website, there are six direct flights from Manchester Airport on Saturday 28 May.

These are due to depart Manchester at 5.55am, 8am, 8.15am, 10.25am, 12.05pm and 5.30pm. These flights are operated by either EasyJet or AirFrance.

For the return journey back to Manchester, there are 26 flights from Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport to Manchester on Sunday, 29 May.

Paris is a large city, with plenty of places to spend the night.

How can I buy tickets for the final?

Ticket sales for the 202 Champions League final have started selling exclusively via UEFA.com and will run until 28 April at 2pm CEST.

Fans of the two teams and the general public are being allocated the majority of the tickets for the final.

A total of 52,000 tickets out of 75,000 (the stadium’s capacity for the final) are available for fans and the general public to purchase.

The two teams that reach the final will receive 20,000 each, while 12,000 tickets are being offered for sale to fans worldwide via UEFA.com.

Ten thousand of the tickets reserved for the fans of the two teams will be offered for free to reward the lifeblood of the game for their loyal support during the pandemic.

The ticket sale and allocation process for the tickets reserved for the fans of the finalists will be organised by the clubs involved, including the allocation of the free tickets.

The remaining tickets are for the local organising structure, UEFA and national associations, commercial partners and broadcasters.
