Man City & Arsenal transfer target reveals uncertainty around his future
Manchester City would like to strengthen in midfield this summer.
Bruno Guimaraes has admitted his future at Newcastle United is uncertain amid interest from Manchester City.

The midfielder is the champions’ main target this window and Guimaraes has a £100m buy-out clause in his contract for the month of June. However, ManchesterWorld understand that City are reluctant to match that fee, while Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked.
But another factor in this transfer saga is Newcastle’s financial position, and Sky Sports reported on Thursday that the Magpies are among six Premier League sides who need to sell players before 30 June due to concerns over Profit and Sustainability Rules.
Speaking in a recent interview, Guimaraes acknowledged that Newcastle’s need to sell could be a factor and didn’t distance himself from reports of an exit, although said he is very happy in the north-east.
"Look, my future, to be honest, is in God’s hands," Guimaraes told TNT Sports. "I have a contract with Newcastle, I’m very happy, as I said. I know how much they like me, I know everything I’ve been doing for the club.
"In short, I have a contract, I’m happy. I don’t know what can happen, we know everything about Financial Fair Play, but what I can say is that I feel happy.
"Obviously it’s very nice to have your name linked with big clubs, it shows that I’m doing my job well, but I’m not worried about it at all, as I said, I’m happy at the club. I’m very happy, so let’s see what happens.”
