Manchester City produced a stunning comeback against Aston Villa to become Premier league champions for the fourth time in the last five seasons.
On an eventful final day of an intriguing title battle with rivals Liverpool, Pep Guardiola’s side looked set to suffer disappointment as Matty Cash and Philippe Coutinho gave their visitors a two-goal lead with just 20 minutes remaining.
However, a remarkable spell in the game turned the game on it’s head as two goals from Ilkay Gundogan and one from Rodri arrived in the space of five minutes to put City within touching distance of becoming champions.
A tense and nervy final 10 minutes were played out but Pep’s men held firm to set off wild celebrations on and off the pitch when the full-time whistle was finally blown.
