Manchester’s Trafford Centre attracts millions of visitors each year - some of them famous, as these quirky looking-back photos show.
It’s a huge magnet for shoppers and it’s heading for its busiest time of the year with floods of Christmas bargain hunters over the next few weeks - and again during the new year sales.
The Trafford Centre has also had its fare share of famous names visit over the years, including world-class boxers promoting their latest bouts, to Hollywood stars signing books at meet and greet events. Others were in Manchester to promote new perfumes or take part in charity events. We looked back through the archives and picked out a selection of fun photos recalling some of the wide and varied celebrities who paid the shopping centre a flying visit since it opened its doors almost 25 years ago.
