Why Manchester Christmas Markets have been named one of the most Insta-worthy in Europe

Manchester Christmas market has been listed in the top three most picturesque Christmas markets in the whole of Europe - according to Instagram users.

Out of over 600 markets that take place across the UK and mainland Europe Manchester came in at number three on the social media photo-sharing platform, with 48,252 posts on Instagram using the market’s hashtag.

The Insta research, carried out by PaulCamper, named the Advent in Zagreb market the most snapped and shared, while Christmas at Kew in London was second. Edinburgh and Bath also featured in the UK locations for snap-happy visitors.

It comes just a few days after the 2021 Christmas markets opened in Manchester with a new attraction at Piccadilly Gardens.
