Ex-Manchester United star Wayne Rooney is returning to the city on Wednesday night for the global premiere of his new Amazon Prime film.
The footballer-turned-manager is expected to be joined by wife Colleen for the first screening of Rooney at HOME tonight.

Hide AdThe now Derby County boss remains United’s all-time leading goal scorer.
However, ahead of the film launch, he told journalists he had struggled with his mental health and spells of excessive driking at times during his prolific playing career.
He recalled: “I couldn’t go into the likes of Roy Keane, Ryan Giggs and say ‘listen, I’m struggling here.’”
The new film also features Rooney talking about key points in his life, from growing up in Liverpool to facing media scrutiny as a young player for his off-field behaviour.

Hide AdDirected by Bafta award-winner Matt Smith, it also includes interviews with former United stars David Beckham, Gary Neville, and Rio Ferdinand.
