Every parent wants the best possible school place for their child and even more so when it comes to secondary schools.
Choosing where to send your child can be a tough task, with so many things to consider as the new application deadlines for next year’s intake loom and open days begin to be held.
The top secondary schools in England and Scotland are revealed annually in Parent Power, the Sunday Times’ Schools Guide, which includes both state and independent schools and colleges in Manchester.
The 2022 edition of Parent Power uses pre-Covid examination results to identify the UK’s highest-achieving schools, with over 1,700 schools included from across the nations.

1. Withington Girls School
