One restaurant has been nominated three times

Manchester’s impressive dining scene has featured heavily in this year’s British Restaurant Awards. nominations.

One restaurant, Adam Reid at The French, has been nominated an impressive three times - for Best Manchester Restaurant, Best Luxury Restaurant and Restaurant of the Year.

The swish eaterie in the Midland Hotel has already been awarded four AA rosettes for its cooking, with Reid at the helm since 2016.

Others up for Best Manchester Restaurant are:

Dakota Grill, mana, WOOD Manchester, Grand Pacific, Sunset By Australasia, Vermilion, 20 Stories Kitten, Peter Street Kitchen, The Ivy Asia, Erst.

The Peter Street Kitchen is also up in the Best Luxury Restaurant category as well as being nominated for Best Culinary Experience.

The Washhouse on Shudehill is up for Best Bar and One Plus is in the running for Best Takeaway.

The 5th Annual British Restaurant Awards (BRA) promises the celebrations to be “bigger, bolder, and more delicious than ever,” and “an evening of culinary celebration that will leave an indelible mark on the food industry.”
