Michael Cullen, AKA SpeedoMick, is in the final week of his 2,500 mile charity walk across the UK and Ireland in nothing but his Speedos, raising £250,000 for small charities along the way.

Following the success of his 1,000 mile walk in 2019 - which raised over £500,000 and spanned across 30 towns and cities has decided to do another charity walk to ‘give back’ to the people and the communities who have supported him in the past.

Michael’s journey began in Stornoway in the Western Isles back in May, then on to Edinburgh and Glasgow before heading across the Irish Sea to Belfast.

He then toured Ireland ending up in Dublin before crossing back to North Wales to then head down to Cardiff.  After crossing the Severn he is now on route through towns and cities across England, having just left Manchester on Tuesday.

He said: “The reason I’m doing the tour is to give back to the people and the communities who have supported me in the past.”

Before this challenge, SpeedoMick has swum the English Channel and more recently walked from John O’Groats to Lands End in his now famous Speedos.
