The next set of rail strikes by union members at Network Rail will be taking place for four days next week on 13-14 and 16-17 December. Limited or no trains will be running for two 48-hour windows during the week commencing 12 December due to the RMT strike action.

These strikes are part of an ongoing row over pay, working conditions and job security for all rail workers, after an 8% pay increase offered to staff by the Rail Delivery Group was rejected. Strikes will run on dates throughout December and January, and may cause serious disruption to travel plans over Christmas with folk being asked to check their trips before travelling.
