There will be some disruption to public transport plus road closures this weekend as Manchester marks Remembrance Sunday in the city centre.

Commemorations take place every year on the nearest Sunday to 11 November, or Armistice Day, the day World War 1 ended. Representatives of all branches of the armed forces and veterans will be in attendance, alongside local dignitaries and members of the public, to remember all the service men and women who have died in the line of duty.
