Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague have shocked fans after it was revealed that they took a Jet2 economy flight despite their eye-watering combined net worth of £7 million. The former Love Island stars, both aged 24, were spotted taking the budget flight which can cost around £70 per person ahead of their luxury holiday in Athens in June.

A fan posted footage of the couple on their TikTok, showing Molly-Mae and Tommy putting their luggage forward for the flight then standing in the aisles of the plane. The video, which is captioned ‘POV Tommy Fury is on the same flight as you,’ has gone viral with almost 2 million views.

A nanny can be seen pushing baby Bambi back and forth in her pram as Molly-Mae and Tommy speak to staff. Fans have been left impressed with the couple’s humble choice of flight carrier with many admitting they were surprised that they weren’t flying first class.

One person wrote: “Good on him, not letting fame and money go to his head.” Another commented: “Was under the impression they always fly 1st class.” A third added: “There is no way bro is sitting in economy.”

The viral video comes just weeks after Molly-Mae stepped down from her £5 million-a-year deal with PrettyLittleThing, after 22 months as creative director to focus on mum duties. She has reassured her fans that she is still on good terms with the fast fashion brand and will continue to work with them to create collections and edits.

Speaking on YouTube, Molly-Mae said: “The whole experience of having a baby and being a mum I truly, truly underestimated. I underestimated every aspect of it, like the complete 360 your life will do. The amount of time you will have and priorities.

“Over the last few weeks, I have realised that I'm only going to get this time once with my first-born child and I'm only going to get Bambi being four months old once and I feel like I've had to rearrange my life a little bit and lose some commitments that I did have.

“Myself and PLT have decided collectively that as much as the creative director role was incredible and I have literally loved being the creative director of PLT more than anything it was such an amazing chapter for me it has just naturally come to an end.

“I am a mum now and I never really gave myself a maternity leave and I got straight back into work instantly because my work is my phone and showing my life is my work. The last thing I would want to be is in a role that I can't fulfil right now.”

Molly-Mae went on to share lavish snaps from her family trip to Athens with her Instagram followers, which she likened to “walking through pinterest.” She shared a picture of Tommy and Bambi alongside the caption: “luckiest mumma.”
